Calm in the Crowd

Calm in the Crowd is an inclusivity initiative started by Spectrum, that opens doors to autistic children by providing them with the tools they need to enjoy the thrill of live sports, comfortably and confidently. In partnership with supporting sports organizations, Calm in the Crowd offers free game tickets along with specially designed sensory support kits to autistic children. This program aims to create a more inclusive game-day experience where every fan can feel safe, supported, and part of the action.

  • Each sensory support kit includes:

    1. Game tickets

    2. Paper based core board (AAC)

    3. Noise cancelling headphones

    4. Tote bag

    5. Fidget

    6. Social story about going to the game

    7. Sunglasses

    Bags may vary based on location and supporting businesses.
