Spectrum Connect

Our goal at Spectrum has always been to build a community. Groups offer a profound level of validation and connection. You are part of a community that understands! Through this group, we aim to empower and uplift one another as we navigate the unique challenges and joys of parenting neurodivergent children.

Topics will be driven by individual group members’ interests and needs, but may include adjustment to new diagnoses, understanding the neurodiversity movement, supporting children’s self-esteem and self-advocacy, depression or anxiety, exploring academic options and supports, trauma-sensitive parenting, persistent drive for autonomy (PDA), accommodating children’s unique sensory systems, growing harmonious family relationships, supporting healthy autistic identity, and more!

At this time the plan for the group will be to meet in person.
